The story of 惱

angry

惱 is composed of the BuShou of 心(heart), 巛 and 囟. 巛 is the picture of river, while 囟 is the picture of a skull, the part which composed of these two words has already had the meaning of brain or thought, ancient Chinese think that heart is also an organ which control our thought or emotion, so 惱 is used to represent our unstoppable train of thought.
