屁
The story of 屁
buttock, fart
屁 is composed of 尸 (corpse, ancestral card) and 比 (compare) . 尸 is the picture of a man sitting down with bending knees, means ancestral card or corpse, while 比 has the meaning of one another, so 屁 is used to represent two large fleshy masses from human rump, buttocks. On the other hand, there is no feces or urine after farting, only buttocks can be seen, so 屁 also means the intestinal gas expelling from the anus.
