尼 is the picture of two mud pieces piling up, but such meaning has been replaced by 泥 (mud). 尼 used to mean intimacy, but this meaning has been replaced by 昵. Now 尼 means a fully ordained female monastic in Buddhism, which originated from the simplified form of ‘Bhikkhunī’.
