逢 is composed of the BuShou of 辵(to walk) and 夆(meet).夆 depicts the tiptoe touching the weed, means meeting, 辵 means move or action, you cannot meet without any move or action. In addition, border is desolate and the weed grows bushy, so 逢 also has the meaning of edge or brink, but such meaning has been replaced by 縫.
