豐 is composed of the variant of 壴 and two 丰. 壴 is the picture of a drum hanging on a rack, while 丰 depicts a tree planted on soil, two 丰 has the meaning of flourishing, the soil must be fertile if the plant grown there is flourishing, it is a great thing which worths celebrating by beating drum, since ancient China is an agricultural society.
