輓 is composed of 車 (car) and 免 (avoid) . 免 depicts a man wearing a hat, which has the meaning of labor, so 輓 means pulling something with cart. An object cannot be pulled by hand, but must be pulled by a cart, which means that object is very heavy, so it is difficult to move. It is not easy to move on from the grief of the death of a loved one.
