The story of 圍

enclose, surround

圍 is composed of 囗(an enclosure) and 韋(two feet walking around an enclosure). Both 圍 and 囗 share the same meaning and pronunciation, but 囗 looks almost the same as 口(mouth), to prevent confusion, we use 圍 instead.
