run

奔 is composed of 大(big) and 卉, 卉 here is actually the simplified form of three 止(to stop). 大 depicts a man stretching his arms, while 止 depicts a foot, so 卉 is the picture of stretching his arms and running, he runs so fast as if he has three feet.
