The story of 駁

contradict, refute

駁 is composed of 馬(Horse) and 爻(single and divided lines specified in The Book of Changes(易經)). 爻 depicts the intersected bamboo sticks for divination, represents intersected lines. Horse is difficult to be tamed but runs fast, once lost, the owner need to recognize which is which by the mottle of its body. On the other hand, intersected lines also means different opinion, someone will refute the others when he heard different opinion.
