The story of 韶

excellent, harmonious

韶 is composed of 音(sound) and 召, the original form of 召 is the picture of two hands holding a spoon and taking up wine from a wine bottle to a bowl, depicts master(most likely an emperor) serving his guest(most likely the feudal barons) in ancient China. With a view to maintaining good relation with his feudal barons, the emperor in ancient China need to hold banquet and dine with them, those banquets are always accompanied with music, since it is an emperor’s banquet, the music must be beautiful.
