皚 is composed of 白 (white) and 豈 (how) . 白 depicts a toothy mouth, while 豈 depicts a hand beating a drum. There may not be drums on the battlefield, so soldiers will beat the metal armors as drums and sing for victory. The armor is made of metal and is as shiny as white teeth.
